Van Allen and Gateway Academy students participated in this year's 4th-6th grade EUSD Spelling Bee. All students did a great job as they tackled challenging spelling words. The first place winner for the district was Isaiah Nowell, a 6th grader from Gateway Academy. The second place winner was Gregory Arnold, a 4th grader from Van Allen Elementary. The third place winner was Jorge Correa Vega, a 5th grader from Van Allen Elementary. Our first and second place winners will go on to the San Joaquin County Spelling Bee on Monday, December 5th at 3:30 pm. Congratulations to our amazing district spellers!
